Each AppSumo plan includes a set monthly event limit. If your account exceeds this limit, event tracking continues automatically to ensure your analytics remain accurate and uninterrupted. This prevents data gaps, ensuring you always have a complete picture of user behavior without losing important insights. Overages are applied based on actual usage, allowing you to capture valuable data even during unexpected spikes or growth periods.

🔹How you'll be notified

We proactively notify customers via email when they exceed their plan limits to ensure full visibility:


  • First notification: An initial email is sent when overages begin, delivered to the primary email on the account.

  • Follow ups: Additional reminders are sent if usage continues to exceed limits over multiple months.

  • Account lock on overages: If multiple notifications are sent and no action is taken, overages may be locked on the account, requiring resolution before continued usage.

  • Potential cancellation: If overages remain unresolved after two or more notifications, the account will be automatically canceled via the platform per our terms.
